French drugs: tofisopam, sulbutiamine, etc

Posted by Maniz on January 28, 2001, at 8:33:33

Hello,

It seems French people have different choices.

I have found these drugs:

TOFISOPAM:from biam2 site
(DIMETHOXY-3,4 PHENYL)-1 ETHYL-5 DIMETHOXY-7,8 METHYL-4 5H- .BENZO(D)(DIAZEPINE-1,2)

a benzodiazepine supposed not to cause dependance (or tolerance, whatever I should say. Hard to believe)
Tofisopam (Seriel) 30 x 50mg tablets $5.00

SULBUTIAMINE (brand Arcalion):
a B1 derivative supposed to be effective for asthenia, fatigue and even depression
http://www2.biam2.org/www/Sub1310.html
Expensive (30x200mg tablets $21.60). I am trying it with very unclear results (if any). I would I would like to hear comments.

And there is a serotonine antagonist AD I do not remember the name, plus Adrafinil, etc.
