Nardil might be used quite a bit often than Parnate. I don't know what the statistics are. From my exposure to this posting-board and the anecdotes told me by clinicians, Nardil seems to be the one with the greater propensity to demonstrate poop-out.

Scott,Nardil pooped-out on me too in a big way! At first, I though i finally found the miracle drug I was searching for. Unfortunately, within three months all of the positive effects stopped and i found it was making me increasingly nervous. I tried to increase the dosage, but experienced hand tremors so severe i couldn't even hold a spoon. I eventually just stopped using it.
I tried it years later and it did little to improve my mood or cognitive abilities as it had done initally. I tried just about every AD on the market afterwards and none came close to helping me the way Nardil initially did. From what i read above, i may try it again and supplement it with Buspirone.
I suspect my experience is a common one. The fact that AD's poop-out and have long start-up times are important keys that still aren't understood.
