Roo,
I've been on 400mg WB SR for almost a year. Was also on Remeron with the WB, but dropped that last fall and added Neurontin. Now I take 200mg Neurontin in the am with 200mg WB, another 200 WB at 3 pm, and 800 mg Neurontin for sleep at night. Pdoc added Celexa in the morning about 5 weeks ago to help with some increased irritability because he thought I needed some serotonin. I've been on 20mg for 3 wks.; going one more week, then re-evaluating.
I think the Neurontin helped. It seemed to even out the moods, which before felt like I could not control. I didn't mind getting off the Remeron, which I had been taking for more than 2 years. We weren't sure that it was working. However, my sleep has not been as good since I've been off the Remeron. Neurontin helps, but it sure isn't Remeron. We are currently evaluating this WB/Neu/Celexa combo to see whether it is beneficial. There have been pesky side effects with the Celexa -- including fatigue and apathy, and my sleep has not been as good.
Hope this helps.
Allison
