Adrafinil side effects, what to do JohnL, all?+PEA

Hello,
I am starting Adrafinil 300mg/day (I am in day 3).
I do not feel any stimulation or increase in alertness.
I sure get gastrointestinal distress (a bit of constipation, the feeling of having taking someting that disturbs your system, altered depositions color) and a light headache. Difficult to tell exactly.
I do not know what to do...quit? increase or decrease the dose?. I am not sure if this is good to me...
Besides, I have read phenylalanine+deprenyl increases PEA (phenyletilamine) with good results. Could I add this combo to Adrafinil?.
