How much Ultram do you take?

I just started Ultram at 50 mg BID for Depression and OCD that doesn't respond to any medication known to mankind. What dosage do you take? How long did it take to work (is it like antidepressants and their lag-time)?

Background Notes: I got the Ultram really cheap at a warehouse-type store (50 of the 50mg tablets for US $44).

If it really had a chance of addiction, why wouldn't it be listed as at least a CIV substance?
