In reply to Sexual Dysfunction: Anything for Nardil?, posted by jb on March 13, 2001, at 13:16:48
> Hi, I'm seeing my psychdoc this Friday, but was wondering if anyone ever had an antidote for the sexual dysfunction from taking Nardil. I'm going to ask for Selegiline, even though it's another MAOI. But, as it's primarily an MAO-B inhibitor, hopefully he'll feel comfortable giving that to me at a low dosage, say 15 mg/day.

> JohnBSelegiline is currently making me impotent..so that may not be a good choice, Yohimbee worked for me in tiny doses quite well with the NArdil issue. Eventually though I couldn't handle the weight gain, fatigue, AND sexual dysfunction. Just too many side effects, but I am quite sensitive to meds.. I think it is unsafe to combine to MAOI's even one that is selective like the Selegiline.
