The author of the referenced webpages seems to be the real deal, and sad as his story may be, I actually think it bodes well for the future.
Pharma companies have been getting away with outright lies for God knows how long on their packagine inserts. By not asking about impotence, and essentially waiting for SSRI-drugees to bring it up, Lilly, if I recall correctly, I'm not sure about the firm, was able to report that only 4% of all people complained of impotence while on their drug. When some independent psychiatrists did a survey, and asked patients how their sex life was doing, 75% reported sexual difficulties. Imagine the outrcy if anyone other than mental patients were expected to submit to what amounts to a transient chemical castration without being told about it.
And these are only the un(der)reported phenomena we know about...

However, I am still experiencing the dizziness, which I now have learned could last for months or possibly indefinately. Please review this web site for further information regarding new findings about Effexor and other SSRI drugs. The site has links to medical articles, new information from the FDA and the manufacturer, etc.
