risperidal for ruminating thoughts

Does anyone know if risperidal helps with ruminating thoughts. I take 1 mg at night but I still have obsessive thoughts when I am in a depressive phase. Is this new Geobon or whatever it is better than risperidal? Also, what is the best ad for rapid cycling. When I am on SSRI's I seem to cycle more. Even on the medications I am on, I am still getting depressed. Help!
