In reply to Luvox and (too much) Sleep, posted by That Dave Guy on March 20, 2001, at 12:13:27
Hey, "That Dave Guy," aren't you the one who was discussing "electric head" with me or was that yet another Dave?
Anyway, I took Luvox for just a little while and it made me so tired I had to quit. I have to drink two large cups of coffee every morning (well, I like to, not have to) and when I recently switched from a long-time regimen of Zoloft to Paxil (which makes me tired also but not quite as bad as Zoloft) I upped my coffee intake to 2 1/2 big cups per day and still feel sort of out of it. You might need more protein and less carbs. I know that any carbs now make me SO sleepy. In fact, gotta go brew some caffeine right now. :o)
> I've been on Luvox for 2 yrs and latley have been very fatigued no matter how much I sleep. Sleeping is not difficult (waking is!) - in fact, I can literally sleep all day and then go right back to sleep at night. Over the last couple of months this has been my weekend habit. I've cut caffine out of my diet (4+ mos ago) and have increased fruit/veggie intake. Any thoughts, comments?
