> I'm not. My brother inlaw who is bipolar feels he is successfully treated. I wonder if it is because his pdocs tell him so. He has not been able to work for at least 15 years because of his illness. He displays some odd characteristics like talking incessantly without saying anything of interest. He stays up at night and sleeps dureing the day just out of compulsion. In my opinion he is'nt successfully treated. I care about him and would like for him to be better. But if he is happy with where he is at, what can you do.
> I wonder if alot of others who are considered successfully treated are actually living far below their potential. What do you think? Here in UK the treatment is a joke and the private alternative costs. It's cheaper to pay me disability benefit than get proper help because nobody cares sometimes I feel like scratching the words MEAT on my chest.
