> Hey, Effexor seems to be working fine with me after the 1st month, although the initial "bliss" has worn off. I really don't want to be on the stuff forever, nor will I. I'm just looking for other ways to increase the effectivness. I've been on 25mg IR, and 75mg xr from the start. Maybe I should increase? As well as add theropy? Anyone know of someone good to see in Chi-Town. Anyone just want to complain about all the hypocondriacs and know-it-alls? Another quick point, for the first 3 weeks I had to take Trazadone at night to sleep. This week, I slept quite well, without the Traz. i wasn't sleeping before the Effexor, but know, I'm able to keep my mind off all the "lifes problems" that were keeping me up. Turns out they are not that big of problems. Go figure. Ramble ramble. Sorry.

Oh my goodness, I am looking forward to a conversation with someone who doesn't want to prove me wrong. Do you think we will be bored of each other in a few days? I have had nothing but positive results on this med. I do not want to go as high as 300mg though. I am at 150mg and am feeling better every day. Isn't 300mg extremely high? I thought that 250mg was the highest dosage to safely take. (Obviously not, so really aren't I answering my own question.) My only negative side effect is dehydration. I am drinking a lot of water. If I don't, I start to get that dehydration headache that is unbearable. Has anyone else had that problem?Canuck
