Richelson: Seroquel for depression?

Posted by anita on April 15, 2001, at 16:21:11

Hello,

I would like to know if Seroquel is as effective for depression as Zyprexa and Risperidone have shown to be. I have read that it isn't that great for negative symptoms, and I wonder if that correlates with the antidepressant effect. Does it antagonize the 5HT2A receptor any less than the other atypicals?

Thanks,
Anita
