You are right about seroquel causing sedation, but in my case that was a blessing as I was suffering from insomnia. Even when I finally fell asleep, I could only sleep for three or four hours at a time, and sleeping pills didn't help. It was making me a physical and mental wreck. I always slept very well with the seroquel, and it was a tremendous relief.
