Meds can help. Therapy can help. Meds and therapy togather can help more than the sum of the two parts. Since you've recognized this as a problem and are willing to work to overcome it, I think it's fair to say you've got a pretty good chance of making things right. If you believe in the relationship, stick with it! Sometimes you gotta fight to make what's right, but it happens all the time. Good luck.
> I am a 23 yr ols female. I am engaged, but afraid we will not get married because of my jealousy. I read that SRRI'S help with obsessional behaviors, which I am afraid this has turned into. I know I don't have any reason to be jealous, it has gotten worse since he has given into it. He doesn't go out and is hardly ever away from me except to work. I know this is ridiculous and we plan to get counseling, will the med's help me overcome this?
