Yes I've noticed SalArmy4me has alot of information. I was wondering if he is hired as a doc to help people on this board. Sal, your info is really helpful.Re: Zoloft & Celexa, neither helped my depression, but now trying Remeron, only been on it a few days, but it seems to be helping my depression 100%. It may be helpful for bi-polar, though.

I've been on wellbutrin (too nervous), celexa (didn't help enough), zoloft & effexor (didn't help). right now I'm on lithium (I think it helps balance me some), neurontin (the only thing that has reduced the mania at all :) and prozac. I was on prozac once before & I thought it helped alot; but I guess it was just with social anxiety cause it doesn't seem to be helping the depression any better than other ADs I've tried. I think what I really need is an AD, none of them have helped much. they do help some but I just keep hoping there's something better. I can function, etc. once in a couple months feel good but that's about all. I need something more & I have no idea what to try. I want to live. maybe there isn't an AD that will help much??? I don't know. I believe the neurontin has helped more than anything; took much of the mania away, thank God. but I still hurt almost constantly; now it's without so many racing thoughts. I really appreciate it, have no idea where to start next. thanks :) take care
