Hi...I really find this forum excellent. Am moving back to UK permanently and I have found out my hormone replacement drugs are not available...so am taking a supply.
There is a mental health site from Norfolk I use to check drug name cross refs and it does not have this drug on it...has it been taken off the NHS for depression, etc??? (I know it's been used for smoking cessation...but it was not its first purpose).
Now I am wondering if Wellbutrin (bupropion) SR is now available in UK? My husband, a Brit, who went ahead of me says some bad press has been going around because of the seizure thing. Seeing as how I will never have a psydoc there and have to rely on a GP...are the GP's prescribing it?? I have had no problems with it at all.
So far it's the only thing that's helping me and I have been on anti-d's and other meds since 1981!!! My hormones with the testosterone help so much for my early onset menopause...that has me really annoyed, that Estratest is not in Europe or UK at all...but hopefully only need them for a short while and taking a supply.
But the Wellbutrin/bupropion/Zyban or whatever...Sustained Release... is that available on the NHS???
Thanks so much from any Brits who post, or others who know.
