Can zyprexa cause depression?

Posted by elderweissblue on May 5, 2001, at 9:18:07

I ve been on zyprexa for about two months now, and about a week and half ago I experienced bad depression, constantly feeling sad. It was unbearable. originally Zyprexa had been given to me as a mood stabilizer, and to help with ruminating thoughts. It helped clear up my mind and gave some inner peace. Bt now since last week I've over pondered about my future and seem to be extra sensitive and there so much raw emotion. Whats happening? I ve just been given prozac two days ago, hoping that will stop the sadness. Can I blame zyprexa for the sadness?
