Luvox Yes! BuSpar No!

I take 150mg of Luvox and, after having taken it for a couple of months, I don't feel like I am taking anything. I feel really good, though, but I don't know if I can contribute that to the SSRI effects. I had taken Luvox once before, altough a lower dosage, for a number of years. Same sort of results. It's a good drug.

Also, I took BuSpar back in 1995 or 1996, but had a pretty bad allergic reaction to it. Actually, I never really could tell that I was having a reaction, until I had gone to the emergency room for a bleeding ulcer, and the doctor wanted to know if I had Lupus or Rheumatoid Arthritis because I had a strange blood count result. It turns out that the BuSpar had given me "Eosinophilia", which is a massive increase in the Eosinophil cell component of white blood cells, and apparently characteristic of allergic reactions and autoimmune diseases! My eosinophil count went back to normal a week after discontinuing the BuSpar. I read the "side effects" literature accompanying BuSpar and it said that Eosinophila was possible, but extremely rare.

BTW, I was on it for a few weeks before the above happened, without knowing of course that I was allergic to it. It did NOTHING to help my anxiety, either, and I consider it a dangerous substance! Not recommended (at least by me!)
