From my own personal battles in fighting depressive symptoms, I would strongly suggest these drugs as primary ADs, either alone or in combination. I think the potential with these is higher than with any of the common antidepressants. Still though, in my own experience, they seem to work best with a little bit of an SSRI in the background, preferrably Prozac. It doesn't take much.

Even though either drug can be mildly stimulating, the combination works better than either alone without producing overstimulation. For me anyway. The word 'stimulating' is a little deceiving though, because these drugs are not stimulating in the same way that bonafide stimulants are. Instead, it's a kinder gentler smoother more subtle stimulation.
