Hi LongSfrng.
> What were the cognitive side effects you suffered?
It is difficult to put into words. I felt distant from everything around me. It was sort of like being in a fog, but without the blurriness of perception. My short-term memory was impaired significantly more than usual, and I found it impossible to learn new things. I did not feel that I had access to the knowledge and understanding that I knew was there. I couldn't "feel" what I already knew. This state seemed to be dosage-dependant. I am hoping that it appeared as the result of an interaction with the Parnate I have been taking. I am planning to discontinue Parnate in favor of another medication, but my doctor and I have not decided yet which. I would like to be able to revisit the neuroleptics since they demonstrated a positive effect on me.
