Oxycodone, which is a step up from hydrocodone among the opioid ("narcotic") pain killers, is safe to take with MAOIs (as is hydrocodone). (Percocet is oxycodone with Tylenol; Vicodin is hydrocodone with Tylenol.)
The only opioid PKs that I can think of that are definitely unsafe are Ultram and Demerol. (Morphine is considered the preferred PK to use as a substitute for Demerol in patients on MAOIs.)There have been a couple of published incidents involving propoxyphene (Darvon) with MAOIs, as Sal notes. Darvon is very weak, though, and if Vicodin didn't work then Darvon probably won't either.
