Your experience is another indicator that everyone is different. Geodon did not make me feel groggy or out of it when I first took it. I was pleasantly suprised and hopeful, as all of the other APs knocked me out badly at low doses, clozapine and olanzapine being the worst.
I discontinued the Geodon because of untolerable akithisia. It would be the first AP I would try again if one was warranted. I seem to have stabilized somewhat, fingers crossed, so hopefully won't have to return to it.Did you get moved and settled? I survived my daughter's graduation, all the company and hoopla that went with it. Whew!! I was having panic attacks prior to it.
May you find the perfect combo to ease your ongoing suffering.
