Well, A bit back I had posed the question as to what effect I would have w/ alcohol when taking effexor. I take it in the morning so I wasnt sure what to expect... Well, I found out the hard way first hand... There was a small situation that cropped up sat. night while out drinking... I over-reacted to a situation that really didnt even involve me directly, as it really involved a mate's gfriend... I was totally agro and out of control... A few instances involved me kicking a door, yelling at a rather large person to shut the fxxk up, and punching a mirror... my hand still bruised from that...
I'm small so I dont know how it will effect everyone, and I *have* been known to do some horribly stupid things when intoxicated... (kicking a bottle into a police officer's car is one at the top of my list)... but normaly im just 'having fun' out of control, I dont ever remember feeling so agressive...
The truth is that I probably shouldnt have been drinking so soon after starting on fxr, but my past is filled w/ bouts of self-medication, so its a hard habit to break... anyways... caveat emptor.
