Unfortunately this is the blind leading the blind. I recently posted more than once on cognitive dulling with lithium and whatever else I am on currently.

Very few responses. I also requested a packet from the Lithium Institute in Michigan. Didn't get a response either.

I am menopausal (are you in that age bracket). The only thing I could figure was that too much lithium (above 560 for me) plus Zoloft which made me cycle and lack of estrogen = cognitive dulling.

I went back on estrogen patch, lowered the Zoloft (like your anti depressant) and tried to lower benzos but couldn't Also take a supplement of ginko biloba (spell?). THe cognitive dulling has improved. Anxiety has gotten worse.

I'll be watching for responses to your post
All the best
> I currently added lithium to my 60mg dose of Nardil. The benefits have only been feeling a little less depresssed and all my consciouss anxiety eliminated. What i mean is cognitively i'm not aware at all. I don't feel like I have a conscious ability. I like and need my neurosis, I feel that therapeutically I cant make any decisions. Everything is passive, I hate it. Is there any one that can relate to this or have suggestions for other meds. My next step would be Zyprexa.
