Well, I'm still tapering the paxil. I'm starting 1/2 pill tomorrow (10 mg.) as apossed to 20mg. on even days & 10mg. on odd. Down from 20mg.per day for 7 months. I'm terribly depressed. I feel like crap. Teary eyed alot. Tired. Head aches...eyes sore,etc.,etc. The plan is to wean me off by the 5th of july which will be the first time I see the psychiatrist. My gp is to prepare me for the shrink to switch meds. Saw a note in gp record today that the switch may be to effexor. I'm still breastfeeding my 7 month old son. Anyone know what the cross over is? Can you give me some insight on effexor? Adverse reactions? Possitive feedback? Thanx.
