FWIW, I've been taking Serzone -- all in the daytime -- with 100 mg of modafinil, and they really seem to go together well. As you probably know, modafinil (brand Provigil/Alertec in U.S./Canada) is the primary metabolite of adrafinil and thought to provide most of the theraputic value. The combo really seems to balance out side effects (e.g., P fights S sedation and S keeps any P agitation at bay), while the *theraputic* effects are nicely synergystic.
I added the Provigil initially to counter Serzone fatigue, but the combo clicked so well (as long as I don't exceed 100mg Provigil too often) that I stayed with it. There are possible interactions between the two meds mediated by the CYP450 enzyme system, so monitoring is advisable. (Heck, monitoring advisable if you're taking just about *anything* with Serzone, including non-psychotropics.) ESPECIALLY with adrafinil -- which requires quarterly liver function tests -- you'd better be cautious. (I'm not sure how adrafinil is metabolized.)
