> Buspar is a pretty crappy med in my view. It may work for some, but I see it as a cop-out to using benzos (that in my opinion have fewer side effects, but the possibility of tolerance/addiction). If you took Zyban before and had no worries, then it is not the 150 SR of Wellbutrin that is causing you trouble. As you know, Zyban and Wellbutrin are exactly the same thing (just different writing). SOOOOOO....looks to me as the Buspar is the culprit. Wellbutrin CAN cause you to be irritable and crabby for awhile, but it is a good mood lifter. I have taken it for about 2.5 years for depression. Out of curiosity, if you don't think you are depressed, why take antidepressants? Look at the depression scale (i.e. are you sad for no reason? feel hopeless, worthless, trapped, can't sleep or sleep too much, sociophobic, suicidal ideation and the like).
I'm not sure how this works for typing a followup. So if it is senseless then please forgive! I'd have to say no to all of the above - originally when I went back on WB I felt aggravation at my life in general..always looked on the dark side of things and preoccupied with negative thoughts. I'm not sure quite what I'd be described as - but probably so mood-swingy from gregarious to down. Not that anything I am seems to interfere with my functioning (lo and behold a migraine is keeping me home today) - though increasingly my irritability, crabbiness and general mood swings are major factors in my alienating friends and family. Somebody recently said "just pick one mood and stick with it".
