Hi Ben --
I can't remember how much Ritalin I took, but I'm almost positive it was only 5 mg -- 20 does sound like a lot, at least to start. Also, my pdoc believes that if Ritalin causes a bad reaction in the beginning, you shouldn't continue to take it -- I don't think you get adjusted to the side effects, like you do with other meds.
Does anyone out there know more about that?
Thanks, and take care, Ben!

I tried now the slow release but I cut the tabs in half instead it shouldnt be done...faster dissolution of the tabs. I think 20 mg is too much....headache, sedation...

I feel some worsening of depression (sadness, motivation..) but I am not sure if its from the Ritalin or just a mood swing (i am unipolar perhaps bipolar II) of which I had severals.
