It can take a few weeks before you will start to feel the effects of the medicine. It is hard to be patient, but give it some time. My first medicine was prozac and I had good success with it. It took me about 3 1/2, 4 weeks to notice a difference with my depression, but it did help.

I don't know your situation, but mine got kinda complex -- I am no longer on prozac -- but I think you can have great success on it for good ole basic depression.
