Some mood swings, cravings for the parnate, agitation, irritability. I haven't even stopped the last ten mgs yet. Does anyone know what's potentially in store for me for the next two weeks? I'm considering taking time off from work in case the withdrawl is horrific. Any suggestions, or advice would be appreciated.

Otherwise, I'm depressed after a few days of lower doses. I'm sure this doesn't work for everyone, but it works for me. In fact, I'm about to do it again unless I lose my nerve.Michael K,
I highly reccomend taking something else (that's safe) to take the edge off while you're coming off the Parnate. I'm taking fairly low dosage of Xanax and a moderate but effective dosages of Nuerontin-3x's daily and it helps keep my stress and irritability and depression at managable levelsofcraziness. Seriously, I hear it's a bit risky to go cold turkey. There's a new trend to help treat depression with anti convulsents, you might want to find out more if you haven't already. But if you want to avoid the hassle of taking other meds and feeling tired(initially) from the Nuerontin(one builds a tolerance if you hang in)than it's almost understandable. Going on vacation for a week while I was weening helped so far.
I'm not done however, so we'll see.Eleven more days left after taking the parnate for 10 yrs! Then...
Have you tried any of the newer a.d.'s?
Thanks for the reply.
