Yeah...really an odd sensation...and the one that used to freak me out the most. Difficult to describe, but when you have it, man it is eerie! Weird though, instead of the intensity decreasing in time, it was the frequency that changed, meaning, i'd still get that feeling..just as intense, but it happened less and less frequently till finally, after about 8 weeks, it stopped altogether.
