is there hope of life without medication?

Is there anyone out there who was diagnosed with schizophrenia and has managed to get off of their medications and live life without them?

Or are there any people out there who used to take anti-psychotics and have managed to live life without them?

If you are medication free, how did you do it? Does anyone know how to get off of anti-psychotics?
