Ah,
You must be part of the 'breast and the brightest', do you also wipe your nose on your sleeve on prime time televison?Seriously, I too have known this decrease in brain capacity as I adventure thru med land to find something that will stablize my moods.
Dry mouth, ok, but hunting for words, Topamax was terrible, dope a max. One of the reasons I respond on this board, and admitedlly lurk, is to challenge my brain to work. Sometimes I am, ok I admit all the time, I am mouthing the words as I type.
Many of the posters here are more intelligent than I am and I am truely awed by their comprehension of not only their conditions, but how the brain and chemistry work.
Any who, just wanted you to know, U R knot Alone.

> I do wonder if there is a physiological explanation. Since I've been taking neurontin to help with sleep (works wonders, I might add), what little spelling ability I ever had seems to be a bit compromised, unless I am extremely vigilant. Even today, I posted in this forum a "what ever" instead of "whatever", used "happyness" instead of "happiness", misplaced hyphens and commas, etc.
