> I don't think this is a med side effect, but I am hoping someone can tell me if I need to go to the doctor or just tell me what this is. Last Monday, I started experiencing a what is like a pressure in my right ear - but it is not a severe pressure. It is hard to describe. It is like I can feel my pulse -- but it is not "beating" at the same rate as my heart rate. Some times it is slower, some times faster. And it is not always regular. I tried taking a decongestant last night, but that didn't seem to effect it at all. Earlier this week I had my blood pressure checked when I was experiencing this and it was in the normal range. I know that I am "crazy" (meant with all sarcasm!), but this is really weird. I tried webmd and my home encyclopedia, and cannot find anything on this. Any ideas are appreciated.

> akcCould just be wax build-up in the ear. You could have your GP take a look. If the ears need cleaning, they can do it for you, or you can buy OTC ear wax removal kits at the drug store. In my experience, the GP can do a much better job of cleaning out the ear than I can at home.
Though your complaints might be some kind of weird side effect, I think checking for excessive wax in the ear is the best place to start, if you haven't done so already.
