Feel really off all the time since stopping paxil

Posted by AVR on September 2, 2001, at 18:33:49

I have been taking paxil on and off for 2 years and now I am off it for good. It's been over a month and now I feel like a different person before I started taking the paxil. I feel really off and spaced out all of the time like I'm on a bad trip of something. I find it hard to concentrate when reading and I had problems with this all through my school years due to my tourrettes and adhd but now I can't recall anything I read. I read things to fast and don't get the information and then I have to read the same sentence 3 or 4 times and I have to watch some movies over and over just to understand them fully. I also have red marks on my face which weren't there before paxil and haven't gone away yet after a month of stopping paxil. I've posted comments on this brain damaging drug before. I'd like to hear from anyone out there that is experiencing these things and how long they will last. I want to get like I was before I started paxil and then find something better than paxil to treat my disorders. Any feedback would be appreciated.
