I havent tried zyprexa, nor respirdal, but I have spoken to my pdoc concerning the difference between Geodon (which I am taking) and zyprexa... As far as he is concerned, and mind you he could be on the pfizer payroll, he considers Geodon to be a better drug with fewer side effects...
There is no weight gain on Geodon, and after I got used to it, I do find it mildly sedating at night... It doesnt seem to interfere with my daily life, and in fact has vastly balanced out my rocky emotions... As far as Geodon is concerned, I can say that much at least...
