I was also on Remeron for a short time, no more than a week I think. I was one of the few who found the "restless leg" side effect made it completely intolerable for me.
Despite the quite long half life, my unpleasant symptoms stopped as soon as I stopped taking it. I switched directly back to Serzone and felt no discomfort coming off it.
I don't recall having headaches, but many A/Ds seem to do things to your water needs. You may easily be dehydrated without knowing it. Dehydration can cause a persistent dull headache that is generally NOT relieved by aspirin or Tylenol. I suggest as an experiment drink LOTS of water - two big glasses full, wait half an hour, then 2 more, Your pee should be virtually colorless if you've drunk enough water. If you have a dehydration headache it will be gone within the hour. Otherwise, seek further help.
Good luck,

I went down to 30 mg. for 3 days, 15 mg. for two days and tomorrow I won't take any. So far so good. And yes, I have had a mild headache for 3 days. Today it was gone, though, and I feel good. I am taking prozac now, too, so I didn't expect any bad withdrawal from the remeron.
