W/O question, diet affects physical and psychological health. The biochemistry of the mechanism of action is beyond my ability to give specifics (though I'm sure SOMEONE can), but generally, the body's use of sugars, proteins, carbs and even vitamins and minerals clearly are related to mood and physical condition. For example, we all have "comfort foods" this is more than coincidence. Quick sugar or carb intake results in immediate increase in energy, albeit short-lived. And we all know times when we feel too upset to eat, yet don't suffer hunger pangs. If the mind is regulated chemically in this fashion, then the implications for dietary control of moods is evident. Just my thoughts.
