Sorry to hear about your difficulties. I had sleep apnea as well, and the combination of weight loss and anxiety-reduction (I'm betting more on the former) surprisingly took care of it completely -- at least so far. I couldn't tolerate the CPAP, but would probably have forced myself to try harder to accept it had the apnea stuck.
I started to ask some questions about treatments you've tried for the RLS and apnea, as well as other meds and disorders that may figure in (including psych), but if you've got three specialists working with you I'm sure you've tried lots of approaches. I'm also sure you're aware that many meds have the potential to worsen apnea, including benzos and many antisepressants (I DO take both myself, all to control anxiety).
I WILL ask two questions, should you care to answer: Have you had, or considered, surgery for the apnea? Have you tried Neurontin for the RLS?
Good Luck,
Rick
