Mair - The little "Do Not Eat" packet is silica gel, which in large quantities over a period of time, could cause some problems. If the puncture was done by the pharmacy, I'd be very tempted to take them back.
You can try to wipe off the dust and flecks off of subsequent doses and store the capsules in an old vial (do label the vial as closely as possible to the one containing the broken packet).
A little bit of silica gel should hurt (or they wouldn't be allowed to use it). - Cam
