>When I was first diagnosed with depression, I was put on Prozac (I was only having depressive symptoms.) My moods would swing WILDLY! In the mornings, I would be so hyper that I would be unable to sit down--I just had to keep moving. Then, by nightfall, I would be so depressed that I could hardly function. Each day, it was the same thing. The Prozac was changed to Zoloft-which did the same thing--then changed to Paxil--which did the same thing, just not to such an extreme. It seemed all the SSRI's did this to me since all the other antidepressants I have been on since have not.I am not considered Bipolar now, but did exhibit the symptoms of rapid cyclin g Bipolar disorder while on the SSRI's. Maybe it is the Paxil. God Bless, San
