I agree. This is very interesting. There are a few more things I'm curious about. Do you know who he was speaking to here? Was it patients (seems unlikely from the content), students, general practitioners, psychiatrists or some other group entirely? When was this meeting? And lastly, do you know anything more about this presenter?I don't want to nitpick too much but I do think it is important to keep a couple of things in mind while reading the transcript. This seems to be an unproofed transcript. For example I suspect that "Depression is schizoaffective disorder, the antidepressants certainly do play a role." should really read "Depression in schizoaffective ..." I mention that because I know that one doctor previously complained about being misquoted on the board. I also worry that there may be other transcription errors that are less obvious to me. One other thing that jumped out at me is that he says he is a consultant for Eli Lilly who makes both Prozac and Zyprexa which he refers to frequently and favorably. Consultant can mean many things and this may or may not matter but it's something I like to know. I'm glad he mentioned it.
