I read somewhere that Sudafed helps people to loose weight. I gained weight from Risperdal and took sudafed everyday for two months. I lost 25lbs. After a while I started to get psychotic. I talked to my doctor and he said I should never have taken the sudafed. Now I am worried that I will not recover. Will this effect my recovery? Will it cause me brain damage? My doctor said he is going to reduce my meds in three years. Now I think I won't be able to come off the meds because I took the sudafed! Will I still be able to taper off risperdal even though I took sudafed? Will it take longer?
