Not really trying to blame one or the other. More interested in finding out from others if they have had similar experiences with Zyprexa, how long they stayed on the drug until they gave up on it due to intolerable side affects, and if they did have speech problems, or other unexpected side affects, were they associated with feeling sleepy. Just for the record, Xanax has a mild stimulating affect on me. It does not cause any drowsiness. In fact, if I want to stay awake at night, all I have to do is take a xanax. Thus, I never take it after 9pm. I guess if I were to restate my original question generically, I'd ask what side affects people had while on Zyprexa, aside from weight gain, that caused them to stop using the drug, or went away over time and how long they stuck with it to let their body adjust to it. thanx
