Yes, that is exactly what I was talking about. If you do a search on vagus nerve stimulation and depression, you come up several studies with pretty good stats. A pacemaker-like device currently used to treat epilepsy is implanted for depression. The stats are even better than they look because some of the trials were done on people who had not responded to any AD *and* had not responded to ECT. Phoenix Girl, you might want to look into this, to see if you would qualify for any of the trials. Thanks for refreshing my memory, Mitch.Shelli
