I was on 300mg and cam eoff cold turkey and it was awful... really awful. You *do* need to taper, so go back to your doc and say thats what you have to do. I explained to mine (I ended up back on effexor) and he has even witten to the drug company about it.
You do need to taper... stick at 75mg for 2 weeks, then 37.5mg for 2 weeks...
