Lamictal seems to be very helpful to me. I've had more un-depressed days in the four months I've been on it than the previous four years, and it helped right away. I also take Zoloft and stimulants, and Lamictal alone didn't seem to do the trick, but its the part of the combo that really made a difference. I too am very medication-sensitive (I take only 25 mg Zo and 5 of dex once a day)--I take between 50 mg/day of Lamictal, but I started with 12.5 mg.Hasn't made my appetite go away though (damn!).

The increased appetite I'd had from Zyprexa is gone, and now I rarely even feel hungry. I eat because I know I *have* to (especially for blood sugar regulation), but there is a marked decrease in my appetite. Anyone else out there who's taking Lamictal experience this? Thanks.
