I took Luvox for 5 years. It worked pretty good for a while. I augmented it with Adderal So it's hard to say if it really made me drowsy or not since the adderal really pumped me up.. I do think if I had taken it alone it would've made me very out of it. while it helped me quite a bit, I also felt almost emotionless a lot of the time. I switched to Celexa, and it did nothing for me. I went back to cutting myself and became agitated. Different drugs work for different people, but I'd have to say that the Luvox worked the best for my anxiety and OCD out of all the SSRI's. But it did seem to just dull my personality, and it pooped out after a few years. I am currently on Serzone. I find more relief from my depression on Serzone, but less relief with the OCD and occassional anxiety. However , I do like the Serzone better because I can still cry and actaully feel my emotions. It also doesn't ruin my ability to enjoy sex like luvox did.
