ECT - Has anyone had ECT and not relapsed?

Hi,

I have been considering ECT for awhile, but everything
I've read indicates I will probably relapse?

Has anyone had a course and not relapsed?
If so what did you do to prevent relapse?
I've heard that Pamelar +LI is now being
used to prevent relapse. Also, maintenance ECT,
but for how long? Indefinetly?
