Hi Adamie,
Mood stablizers consist of medications like Lithium, Depakote, Tegretal. These meds have been around a long time and have a good track record. Some of the newer, more novel mood stabilizers would include Trileptal, Neurontin, Lamictal (this one also tends to have some antidepressant effect too), Topamax, gabapentin. There may be more I just can't think of them at the moment.

I am sorry you are having such a rough time. I, too had that racy, pounding heart feeling with Celexa. I found by waiting a few weeks, it got better. In fact now, I feel fine on Celexa. But it does take some time to adjust too it.

I hope you start feeling better soon
Chloe
